Forged by Faith is our theme for 2008. Our annual meeting at 1^st Harrison went well. Several hundred attended and heard George Muller by Jim Bryant and Dr. Morris Chapman CEO and President of the SBC Executive Committee. We were challenged to be people of faith. We were reminded that we drink from wells we did not dig. We eat from vineyards we did not plant.

We have asked our churches to Start Something New this year, and to also give a report at next years convention. We were challenge by Ernie Nelson to give an offering and he pulled money out of his pocket and throws it on the floor and asked others to do the same. $947 was given toward a new Box truck for our Disaster Relief. Thanks to everyone who gave.  If you would like to give to this cause make checks payable to “NABA Disaster Relief Fund”.

Thanks to 1^st Baptist of Harrison for going above and beyond the call of duty. Thanks for another great year. Less take the challenge set before us and remember we were "Forged by Faith".
