The Church Development Team is another of three teams that assists in leading our association in a variety of ministry areas. Like the other teams, this team consists of 12 members from various churches throughout the North Arkansas Baptist Association. The goal and duties of the Church Development team is two-fold: 1) Provide training for our pastors, staff, and church leadership; 2) Plan events and ministries through the association that many of our churches would struggle to do alone. This team works to create an atmosphere of fellowship and cooperation throughout the association and between our churches in the following areas:
- Pastoral and Leadership Training
- Senior Adult Ministry (Concerts, fellowships, some trips)
- Men's Ministry (Annual NABA Cup golf tournament and other events)
- Women's Ministry (Women on Mission fellowships, etc.)
- Youth Ministry (like D-Now, Concerts and Retreats)
- Children's Ministry (AWANA training, VBS, etc.)
- Music/Worship Ministry (Concerts, training, etc.)
- Evangelism (Acts 1:8, area crusades, etc.)
In addition to these areas of ministry, this team also oversees the use of our 2 Block Party trailers which include bounce houses, games, sound system, popcorn makers, cotton candy machines, and snow cone machines. These trailers are available for use by our member churches for children's events, block parties or church fellowships.
Please note: Due to the liability restrictions place upon us by our insurance carrier, the block party trailers are not available for any type of personal use.
